Reflection - 80
John. 2:7 “Jesus said to them; fill the jars with water. And
they filled them up to the brim”. John. 6:9 “There is a boy here who has five
barley loaves and two fish. Dear brothers, today I would like to give you some
thoughts on the humanitarian side of the miracles of Jesus.
Take any miracle of Jesus; we can see that he expects some
kinds of efforts from our part. We can see that in the miracle at Cana, feeding
the 5000 people, catching the fish from the sea etc.
In the similar way when Jesus made Lazerus alive from the
dead, he said to the people to remove the stone from the tomb.
From these examples we can understand that, Jesus expects
some efforts from our part too to do some miracles in our life. There is a
saying in Malayalam, “താൻ പാതി ദൈവം പാതി”. If we do our part neatly, god will do his part also.
So dear brothers, we all used to pray every day for many
intentions. Let us think ourselves what pain have I taken before I pray? It is
an important question. So let us try to realize that Jesus needs our efforts
also in order to make miracles in our lives. So letus reflect upon it and pray.
