Reflection - 76

We are called to be perfect as our heavenly father not imperfect as we live today. As we know our lord is the perfect example of love. He embraced death only for love to mankind. He resurrected only for love to his children, the new church. As the disciple of Christ we are expected to become the instruments of his love.

Looking literally in this Bible context we are perfect because we have no enemies, we ourselves call this community as KECSH family. But today in this meditation we want to really think about our membership in this family. We have to help each other, care each other and I’m sure we all are doing that. But we have forgotten the main chain ‘prayer chain’. It is the important chain which enables a tight-knit relationship in this family. It is a triangle.

Here I’m connected with my bother through the pure love God.  Secondly we all know social manners such as greetings, respect, fraternity etc: but these social manners never teach you to respect an old beggar or to greet a stranger. Social manners enable you to be admired by people in the society. But we expected to do Godly manners than social manner such as mercy, compassion, love etc: It has a wider range. Sometimes it may not be noticed by others but the Supreme Being is always watching you, because we are trained not to respect Christ but for another Christ- alter Christos.

So let us contemplate these two points such as

1.    Do I pray for my brethren?  

2.    Am I really worthy by having Godly manners?
