Reflection - 77

Let’s invoke the presence of the Holy Spirit through a song. Let’s stand for the gospel reading (St Mathew 24: 45-51). Good morning to all. This morning let’s continue with our meditation of the word of God on the theme of looking to the coming of Christ. There is a something that we should all be looking forward that is the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Who is the faithful and wise servant? Who is the unfaithful servant? Wise servant is always responsible person to his Master. But the unfaithful servant is always wicked. Dear brothers, in this beautiful hour let’s think our own vocation. We are the feature Priest. We are the servant of our Master. He is our Lord Jesus Christ. We have a long formation time. Here what is our role? Let’s ask to our self am I faithful servant or wicked servant in front of my God.

In this Gospel passage we can see from 50 own words “The Master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of.” He does not expect him and he is not aware of because his Master cut him to pieces and put him with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

So my dear brothers we must vigilant and faithful to our Lord, because we do not know when our lord will come. Let’s try to become faithful and wise servant and invite our Lord Jesus Christ.
