Whoever can be trusted in little things can
also be trusted in great ones. . . . .
(Bible Passage: Luke 16: 9-17)
Dear Fathers
and Brothers in Jesus Christ, Good Morning to one and all…………
In this fine
morning, I would like to share about the term trust as meditation topic. In my
understanding the term trust is something precious in this contemporary world.
So I reflected upon it and made it as much as easier to understand you. So I
wish to turn your attention to the following sentence.
Whoever can be trusted
in little things can also be trusted in great ones.
Our journeys are usually formed by what
we call as “very normal things”; the same time table, the same people, some
pious practices... And it is in these ordinary realities where we must fulfill
ourselves as persons and grow up in saintliness. This point describes that we
must do all things well, with upright intention and a sincere desire to please
God, our Father; when we do if for love, it has a greater value and prepare us
for the “true goods”. How well did St. Josemaria express it; have you seen how
that imposing building was built? One brick upon another, then Thousands. But one
by one. And bags of cement, one by one. And blocks of stone, each of them
insignificant compared with the massive whole. And beams of steel and the works
of employees, the same hours, day after day... Have you seen how that imposing
building was built?... By using of little things.
It can help us to live the integrity of
intention to carefully make, every evening, our examination of conscience
without ever forgetting that God sees
everything, even the most hidden thoughts, as we learnt with our
catechism, and that the important thing is to please always our Father God,
whom we have to serve with love, bearing well in mind that No servant can serve
two masters. Either he does not like the one and is fond of the other, or he
regards one highly and the other with contempt (Lk 16:13).
As a
conclusion, let’s take decisions that do all our responsibility in a worthy
manner whether it is bigger or smaller…………
